Shaman's Heart - A Healing Place
"The mind is fascinating, resilient, creative, an imaginative realm always seeking to make an understandable narrative out of the things it experiences. Thoughts, beliefs, ideas, the challenges and blessings of the current life, experiences both vicarious and personal, goals and desires, these are the elements the mind uses to create a "story" about oneself to explain the inner and outer world they live in. I believe we can re-create our lives, can use our thoughts and emotions to heal ourselves, others, and Mother Earth." ~ Asrianna Dameron
Shamans were the physicians, psychiatrists and priests of the tribe and were called to work with their people out of a desire to serve and offer healing. Their lives required personal sacrifice and a profound, sacred wish to help others. Asrianna believes the heart of a Shaman must be dedicated toward the wholeness of those who come for guidance and healing whether it's personal or professional, encompassing the mind, body, heart, and spirit. Not every person is called to be a priest, doctor or mental health professional, but each person can have within them a compassionate desire to love, heal and care for others. Each possesses, what Asrianna calls, the Shaman's Heart
Why Shaman's Heart?
Illness strikes in many forms, affecting the body, mind, heart and spirit. We might face emotional illness whether it’s something as striking as schizophrenia or underlying and chronic as daily depression and despair. Perhaps you suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome, MS or irritable bowel syndrome, debilitating illnesses often kept hidden from others and so often misunderstood by even those closest to you. There are social ills such as painful shyness and the inability to blend in or make friends that can be as painful as many physical symptoms. And each day many of us exist in a spiritual desert, yearning for a deeper connection yet unable to find the key opening the door to peace and happiness.
Shaman's Heart does not pretend to encompass all the many and varied tribal customs found in the world. However, Asrianna Dameron, herself of Native American heritage, uses many indigenous traditions in a multifaceted approach to healing and health. Understanding the sacredness of old ways and of the importance of honoring native traditions, she nonetheless moves into contemporary healing by blending her Certification as a Hypnotherapist specializing in Past Life Regression and Soul Rescue, with Master Levels in Usui, Kundalini, and Emotional Release Reiki systems. Emotional Freedom Therapy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, and Divinatory methods such as Tarot, IChing and Communication Boards and Pendulums are also utilized. Asrianna may also apply her twenty plus years of expertise in Aromatherapy, Ceremony, Crystals and Dream Interpretation in order to discover the source of illness and the best approaches to balancing and reestablishing the energetic health of the individual.
Shamanism, unlike most Western, traditional medical practices, encompasses the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual aspects of a human being. Originally the spiritual leader, physician, therapist and sage of the community, the Shaman treated each person with a holistic approach, realizing that even physical illness may have its origin in disharmony of mind, heart or spirit. Western physicians and scientific studies have shown a connection between depression and lowered immune functions and discovered that those individuals with satisfying personal relationships are often less prone to illness and disease. Asrianna looks forward to working holistically with the complete and complex person you are in order to empower you towards discovering your own health, happiness and renewed passion for life. |
